Bridging the Gap Ride is an annual cycling event hosted by Motherland Cycling Club (MCC), that aims to bring cyclists of diverse backgrounds and persuasions together for a fun and entertaining ride where participants get to experience different cultures, eat, laugh and dance afterwards–all while also supporting a local charity.
MCC is proud to promote Fort Bend Family Promise as our charity to support for BTG 5.
Fort Bend Family Promise mission is To Meet The Immediate Needs Of Homeless Families While Empowering Them To Attain Self-Sufficiency.
Homelessness among families is a growing crisis. Every night, thousands of parents and children are forced to sleep in unsafe conditions, moving from shelter to shelter, or even worse, on the streets. These families face, unique challenges – many are single parents, survivors of domestic violence, or individuals who have lost their homes due to unforeseen financial hardship.
The children in these families often miss out on school and stability, impacting their development and future opportunities.
Your donation can make a significant difference. When you give, you are not just providing temporary shelter, you are investing in long-term solutions that offer these families, the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
All donated proceeds plus a portion of our net income will be given to Fort Bend Family Promise.
All participants will receive a meal and drink ticket as well as a raffle ticket. A few lucky participants will win several nice gifts. Details will be provided subsequently.
